J.T. Barrett's procedure to remove the screws from his broken ankle apparently went well.

Apparently J.T. Barrett just wasn't going to let Ezekiel Elliott hog the entire Ohio State surgery-related spotlight Tuesday.
Only a few minutes after Elliott confirmed on Twitter that he would be having a second wrist surgery this coming Friday, Barrett took to Instagram to cleverly update Buckeyes fans on the progress of his fractured ankle, which was broken against Michigan in the final game of the 2014 regular season:

Urban Meyer said after Barrett's initial surgery in November that the rising sophomore quarterback would likely take some part in the Buckeyes' spring drills, even if not at 100 percent. Barrett should have no problem entering fall camp fully healthy and ready for a potential three-way quarterback-battle-to-end-all-quarterback-battles with Braxton Miller and Cardale Jones, provided things in Columbus this off-season don't get ...
