Miami legend Warren Sapp wants to stop an FSU player from wearing No. 99 in NFL
Timmy Jernigan may want to reconsider his number change

Baltimore Ravens defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan is changing his number from 97 to 99 this season as a tribute to Warren Sapp, who he idolized growing up.
It seems like a nice gesture towards a legend of the game, but Sapp isn't too fond of the effort. When Sapp saw the news on Twitter, he asked how he can stop this from happening.
@Ravens how do I stop this??

Jernigan told ESPN's Jamison Hensley that Sapp has long been his favorite player, but Sapp, a former Miami Hurricanes star, wants to put a halt to the former Florida State defensive tackle honoring him with his No. 99.
"I always grew up watching Warren Sapp," Jernigan said. "I looked up to him. I definitely wanted to model my game after him."
Jernigan also noted that he admired Sapp's "nasty, ferocious" attitude on the field. Well, now he's learning that same attitude applies to off the field as well.
