Oregon, Hawaii schedule 3-game series for 2020, 2023, 2024
Oregon and Hawaii will meet thrice in the next decade, the schools confirmed to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.

You didn't have to look any further than Honolulu's own Marcus Mariota to see the ties between Oregon and the state of Hawaii, so it's no great surprise that the Ducks have scheduled a future trip to the islands.
The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reported that both schools "have confirmed" a three-game series between Oregon and Hawaii over the next decade, with the Rainbow Warriors visiting Autzen Stadium in 2020 and 2023 and the Ducks traveling to Aloha Stadium in 2024.
Per the Star-Advertiser, Oregon had six different players -- including the 2014 Heisman Trophy winner -- from Hawaii on its 2014 roster. The Ducks also signed three Hawaiians in their 2015 recruiting class, including five-star defensive end Canton Kaumatule.
Hawaii is actually riding a three-game winning streak over Oregon, having defeated the Ducks in 1988, 1992 and 1994. Oregon is 4-3 all-time against Hawaii, however.
That Hawaii is scheduling games at all nine seasons into the future might be viewed as a point of optimism; athletic director Ben Jay last fall wouldn't rule out dissolving the school's football program over an expected increase in already substantial budget deficits.
