Ref appears to bump Charlie Strong before throwing crucial flag
Texas coach Charlie Strong was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct late in the Longhorns' loss to Oklahoma State.

Texas coach Charlie Strong apparently bumped an official while protesting a penalty, resulting in a flag for unsportsmanlike conduct during a crucial fourth quarter drive in the Longhorns' loss to Oklahoma State.
This CBS affiliate in Austin passed along footage that shows the confrontation. Strong apparently makes contact with the official, though it does not look intended.
The defensive holding call that set Strong off followed a pass interference penalty and came in the fourth quarter of a game where Texas committed 16 penalties and still led 27-24 at that point.

The 15 yards from Strong's penalty helped the Cowboys get in field goal range and tie the game, but there was an entire game's worth of penalties that continually put the Longhorns two steps back just after a step forward in this Big 12 opener.
The Longhorns' mistake that sealed the result was not a penalty, but the botched punt deep in Texas territory that set up Oklahoma State's game-winning field goal.
