It was Sanders' second game back from injured reserve after he suffered a knee injury in Week 4. The second-round rookie played just 16 defensive snaps (27 percent) against the Texans and has produced only six tackles (two solo) across six appearances this season.

Buffalo designated Sanders to return from IR on Tuesday, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.
Sanders hurt his knee in early October and was consequently placed on IR. He's already missed the required four games, but the Bills don't necessarily have to activate him right away. Sanders now has 21 days during which he can practice before he'd either need to be activated or deemed out for the remainder of the campaign.
