  • Angel Delgado: Claimed by Skyforce

The Skyforce claimed Delgado off of waivers Wednesday, RealGM reports.

After spending some time in Israel, Delgado has returned to the US and the SkyForce were quick to claim his services off waivers. Since the claim, Delgado has averaged 13.5 points, six rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals over 21.9 minutes in the two games he's appeared in.

  • Angel Delgado: Moving on to Israel

Delgado agreed to a contract Monday with Israeli club Hapoel Holon, Emiliano Carchia of Sportando.com reports.

After entering the professional ranks last season, Delgado went undrafted and ultimately landed a two-way contract with the Clippers. Though he only made two appearances at the NBA level, Delgado was a standout performer for the Agua Caliente Clippers, earning G League Rookie of the Year honors in 2018-19 while averaging 18.6 points, 14.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.1 blocks in 33.4 minutes per game. Delgado landed a deal in China with the Beijing Royal Fighters, but the club recently elected to cut him loose, allowing the big man to find an opportunity in Israel.

  • Angel Delgado: Heading overseas

Delgado signed a contract with the Beijing Royal Fighters of the Chinese Basketball Association on Wednesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Delgado spent the bulk of last season with Agua Caliente, though he did play two games with the Clippers. The 24-year-old earned G League rookie of the year honors by averaging 18.5 points, 14.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 44 games.

  • Clippers' Angel Delgado: Becomes unrestricted free agent

Delgado was not extended a qualifying offer by the Clippers and will become an unrestricted free agent, Michael Scotto of The Athletic reports.

Delgado spent the majority of the season in the G League with Agua Caliente, playing only two games with the Clippers. The 24-year-old averaged 18.5 points, 14.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists over 44 G League games last season.

  • Angel Delgado: Returns and finishes with double-double

Delgado (back) scored 15 points (7-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-4 FT) to go along with 17 rebounds, five assists and two blocks in the 113-109 loss Friday to Santa Cruz.

The center immediately returned and posted his usual production, securing yet another double-double. It's unlikely Delgado's services will be needed in the Clippers playoffs, so expect the 24-year-old to be used extensively if Agua Caliente makes the playoffs.

  • Angel Delgado: Surprisingly out Tuesday

Delgado (back) did not play in Tuesday's win over the Swarm.

It's unclear when Delgado suffered the injury, as the productive center played 81 minutes combined in the previous two games. While Delgado's injury likely won't impact the Clippers at the NBA level, the center has turned into arguably one of the most destructive big men in the G League, with his latest example of carnage - a 40-point, 20-rebound win last Tuesday - showcasing his extreme value in DFS formats.

  • Clippers' Angel Delgado: Authors exceptional performance

Delgado put up 40 points (18-23 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 20 rebounds, four assists and one steal in 37 minutes for the G League's Agua Caliente Clippers in their 120-107 win Tuesday over the Northern Arizona Suns.

Gaudy scoring and rebounding totals have been the norm for Delgado in G League play this season, but his numbers Tuesday were downright Chamberlain-esque. An extended stay in the NBA doesn't appear likely for the two-way player this season while the Clippers remain in the hunt for a playoff spot, but the monstrous production he's delivered in the G League makes Delgado an intriguing player to track for dynasty purposes nonetheless.

  • Angel Delgado: Tallies more rebounds than points

Delgado registered 16 points (8-11 FG), 21 rebounds and two assists in the 110-95 loss Thursday to South Bay.

This doesn't even rank among the top-10 rebounding performances of the season, as the center actually has three of those to his name, including a season-leading 31-rebound performance at the beginning of January. It's fair to say that the big man is one of the premiere rebounders in the G League, and will continue to be a relatively safe fantasy play regardless of how many points he scores.

  • Angel Delgado: High scoring totals in win

Delgado posted 28 points (13-17 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-5 FT), 15 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal in the win Wednesday over Windy City.

Delgado earned Midseason All-NBA G League honors for his exploits throughout the opening portion of the 2018-19 G League season, but it's fair to question how much Agua Caliente will see of their young center, particularly with the Clippers primed to fall off the Western conference pedestal after a number of moves near the NBA trade deadline.

  • Clippers' Angel Delgado: Makes NBA debut

Delgado played 14 minutes off the bench Thursday in the Clippers' 116-92 loss to the Pacers, contributing three points (1-4 FG, 1-2 FT), four rebounds and one steal.

After trading away nearly half their roster in a 24-hour span, the Clippers were down to just 10 available players Thursday while waiting for the new imports to arrive. Those extensive absences allowed Delgado to dress for the first time all season, with the rookie playing some backup center minutes in his NBA debut. While he'll move up in the pecking order one spot with Marcin Gortat and Boban Marjanovic now out of town, Delgado still ranks fourth on the Clippers' center depth chart behind Montrezl Harrell, the newly acquired Ivica Zubac and Johnathan Motley. Expect Delgado to move back to the G League's Agua Caliente Clippers if Zubac is ready to make his team debut Saturday in Boston.

  • Clippers' Angel Delgado: Easily tallies double-double

Delgado posted 19 points (8-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 19 rebounds, four assists and one blocked shot in the loss Monday to the Hustle.

Delgado has essentially been a guaranteed walking double-double, averaging 17.4 points and 14.6 rebounds through 30 games with the G League affiliate. At this point, it's obvious the center has outplayed his current competition but without much of a need at the NBA level, Delgado figures to be a might source of points and rebounds in the G League for the foreseeable future.

  • Angel Delgado: Monster 20-20 double-double

Delgado tallied 23 points (10-19 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 21 rebounds, four steals and two assists in the 109-100 loss Tuesday to the Skyforce.

It's hard to believe that Delgado can continue to build upon his rebounding average, but only a week after registering a G League-record 31 rebounds, the big man was back at it again Tuesday, posting another 20-plus outing. At this point it's clear Delgado has outplayed his current competition, but without an obvious call-up option, it's likely the 25-year-old will remain with Agua Caliente for a bit.

  • Clippers' Angel Delgado: Sets G League rebound record

Delgado finished with 17 points (9-16 FG, 4-7 FT) and a G League record 31 rebounds Friday in the Agua Caliente Clippers' 112-94 win over the Oklahoma City Blue. He also added two assists.

The G League's leading rebounder (14.5 per game) entering play Friday, Delgado stepped up his activity on the glass to unforeseen levels, pulling down 20 boards for the third time this season. A two-way player for the Clippers, Delgado has played exclusively at the G League level this season but should get a glimpse with the parent club at some point within the next few months.

  • Angel Delgado: Posts another monster double-double

Delgado finished the loss Wednesday to the Vipers with 24 points (12-22 FG, 0-1 3Pt), 19 rebounds and four assists.

Delgado continues to gobble up rebounds at a rapid pace, bolstering his league-leading 14.4 per game average. While the points haven't always been easy to come by for the big man, Delgado is essentially a walking double-double in the G League and will continue to be one of the better fantasy assets at his position for some time.

  • Angel Delgado: Impactful double-double despite loss

Delgado scored 19 points (8-16 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT) and accumulated 17 rebounds in the loss Wednesday to the Charge.

Delgado played 36 minutes despite coming off the bench, finishing with a team-high in rebounds and nearly a team-high in points. The two-way player has played in nine games with Agua Caliente this season, averaging 13.7 points, 14.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 blocks in 30.9 minutes per game.

  • Clippers' Angel Delgado: Exits with knee bruise

Delgado left Thursday's contest against the Lakers due to a right knee contusion, Jovan Buha of The Athletic Los Angeles reports.

There's no indication the injury is serious, but there's little reason to push things during an essentially meaningless summer league contest. More information about the injury and Delgado's chances to play again during the tournament may arrive after the tilt.

  • Clippers' Angel Delgado: Double-doubles in summer league win

Delgado finished Wednesday's 89-74 summer league win over the Wizards with 14 points (7-9 FG, 0-2 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and five steals across 23 minutes.

Delgado hadn't made much of an impact in three summer league games coming into Wednesday's contest, but the coaching staff opted to push him into the starting five for the first time and give him extended run. The 6-foot-10 big man took advantage of the opportunity and picked up his first double-double of the summer. However, he also snagged five steals, showing himself as a capable defender as well. Delgado already inked a two-way contract with the Clippers, which means he'll be able to spend up to 45 days at the NBA level.
