Drew White: Waived by Washington
The Commanders waived White (knee) from the reserve/PUP list Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
White had been on Washington's PUP list since May due to a knee injury but will now head to waivers. The 25-year-old will continue to focus on getting healthy and look to catch on with another team.

Commanders' Drew White: Reverts to PUP list
White (knee) reverted to Washington's reserve/PUP list after clearing waivers Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
White was waived by the Commanders on Friday with a failed physical designation and now lands on the PUP list after failing to draw any interest. He'll remain there unless both parties agree to an injury settlement.

The Commanders waived White (knee) with a failed physical designation Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
White is still recovering from a torn ACL he suffered back in August, which caused him to miss the entirety of last season. The 24-year-old will look to get healthy and catch on with another team ahead of the 2023 campaign.

It's a brutal development for White, who was just signed to his first NFL deal in May. The typical timetable for recovery suggests he'll likely miss all of the 2022 season, so he'll now need to work back to get another opportunity to prove himself in 2023.
