Taimani (undisclosed) signed with the Vikings' practice squad Wednesday, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
Taimani was waived by the team Tuesday. The second-year defensive tackle played seven games with the Vikings last year and posted three tackles (one solo).

Vikings' Taki Taimani: Designated to return from IR
The Vikings designated Taimani (ankle) to return from injured reserve Thursday.
Taimani was placed on injured reserve Nov. 1 due to an ankle injury. His 21-day practice window opened Thursday, and he opened the week as a full participant in practice. Barring any setbacks. Taimani could be activated off IR ahead of the Vikings' NFC wild-card game against the Rams on Monday.

Vikings' Taki Taimani: Lands on IR with ankle injury
The Vikings placed Taimani (ankle) on injured reserve Saturday.
Taimani was already ruled out for Sunday's game against the Colts, and he'll now be forced to miss at least the next four regular-season games. The earliest Taimani can return is Week 13 against the Cardinals on Sunday, Dec. 1.

Taimani (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 9 clash against Indianapolis.
Taimani has held a minor rotational role on the defensive line this season, logging 67 defensive snaps over seven games and totaling three tackles (one solo). Rookie Levi Drake Rodriguez is expected to make his NFL debut Sunday in Taimani's absence, per Will Ragatz of SI.com.
