Aaron Slegers: Announces retirement

Slegers announced his retirement from baseball Thursday.

Slegers noted that a nagging shoulder injury -- which limited him to just two rehab appearances in 2022 -- is the reason behind his decision. The 30-year-old finishes his career with a 5.46 ERA over 49 appearances -- six starts -- across parts of five major-league seasons.
