Angels' Chad Wallach: Removed from 40-man roster

Wallach cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Salt Lake on Thursday.

Wallach spent most of the season at Salt Lake and won't retain his spot on the 40-man roster through the offseason. He had a .219/.304/.361 slash line in 89 games at Triple-A and appeared in 12 major-league games.
