Angels' Jared Walsh: Potentially returning Tuesday

The Angels hope Walsh (chest) will be activated from the 10-day injured list for Tuesday's series opener against the Blue Jays, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Manager Joe Maddon previously indicated Walsh could be reinstated this weekend, but the first baseman will remain sidelined for at least a couple more days. The 28-year-old landed on the shelf in late July with a right intercostal strain and is already eligible to be activated from the injured list.
