Angels' Jarrett Parker: Sent to Triple-A

Parker was sent outright to Triple-A Salt Lake on Wednesday.

Parker, who was designated for assignment over the weekend, will remain in the Angels organization after passing through waivers untouched. In 63 games with Salt Lake this season, the outfielder owns a .294/.421/.592 line with 18 home runs and two stolen bases.
