Adell is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Yankees, Sarah Valenzuela of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Adell started the past six contests and will head to the bench Tuesday after going 6-for-21 with two home runs and four RBI during that stretch. Magneuris Sierra will take over in left field and bat eighth.
