The Angels recalled Adams from Triple-A Salt Lake on Friday.
Adams had a rough time at the plate during his first MLB stint, going just 2-for-14 with six strikeouts across 10 games. Nonetheless, he'll return to Anaheim to give the Angels another option in the outfield. Davis Daniel was optioned to Salt Lake in a corresponding move.
