Ward went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 3-2 win against the Royals on Wednesday.

Ward gave the Angels a 2-0 lead with his 420-foot solo shot to left-center field in the third inning. The long ball was his second in as many games and his sixth (all of which have been solo shots) over his past 10 contests. Ward has posted a career-high 36 home runs and 103 RBI over 655 plate appearances on the campaign.
