Richardson was released by the Dodgers on Wednesday, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
The 32-year-old has struggled mightily with Triple-A Oklahoma City, hitting just .146 with only one extra-base hit in 15 games this season. He hasn't recorded a major-league at-bat since 2014.
