Astros' Brandon Bailey: Optioned to alternate training site

Bailey was optioned to the Astros' alternate training site Saturday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Bailey was effective out of the Astros' bullpen during his time on the active roster, posting a 2.45 ERA and 4:3 K:BB over 7.1 innings across five appearances. However, he'll continue his work with the alternate squad after Joe Biagini (shoulder) was activated from the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move.
