Athletics' Michael Stefanic: Signs with Athletics as NRI

The Athletics signed Stefanic to a minor-league contract with an invitation to spring training Monday, Kiley McDaniel of ESPN.com reports.

Stefanic saw spot duty with the Blue Jays in 2025 but spent most of the year at Triple-A Buffalo, where he slashed .287/.403/.383 over 106 contests. The utility player will turn 30 in February and is a career .227/.314/.267 hitter over parts of four major-league seasons.
