Dettmer is on the 60-day injured list with Single-A Stockton and hasn't pitched since late April due to bone chips in his elbow, Mark Chiarelli of Baseball America reports.
If Dettmer had surgery to remove the bone chips, he could be ready to go for the start of 2025, but it's unclear what his current status is. The 22-year-old righty gave up 11 runs while striking out 11 in 9.2 innings at Single-A before landing on the shelf.
