Athletics' Yusmeiro Petit: Working on scoreless streak

Petit, who secured his 19th hold with a scoreless inning during which he recorded a walk and a strikeout Sunday against the Yankees, has forged six consecutive scoreless appearances.

The veteran reliever is in the midst of another one of his dominant stretches, which has lowered his ERA and WHIP back down to 3.02 and 1.01, respectively. Petit also has three holds during the sample, keeping him within striking distance of eclipsing the career-high 29 he logged for Oakland back in 2019.
