Blue Jays' Junior Lake: Designated for assignment

Lake was designated for assignment Tuesday, Blue Jays broadcaster Mike Wilner reports.

Lake was called up for the second time this season last week, but he tallied just one at-bat over five games since, so the Blue Jays decided to remove him from the roster to open up a spot for returning fellow outfielder Ezequiel Carrera.
