Blue Jays' Ryan Borucki: Shines in Triple-A debut
Borucki pitched six scoreless innings, allowing six hits and one walk while striking out six during his Triple-A debut with Buffalo on Thursday.
The 23-year-old lefty has been impressive this season, moving through three levels of the organization. Between High-A Dunedin and Double-A New Hampshire, he's managed quality starts in 20 of his 25 outings. Borucki remains a year or two away from a possible big-league role, but his stock has risen immensely in 2017, and he'll certainly be a player to watch when next spring rolls around.
