Braves' Beau Burrows: Signs minor-league contract

Burrows signed a minor-league contract with Atlanta on Feb. 23 and was assigned to Double-A Mississippi.

Burrows elected free agency after being outrighted off the 40-man roster by the Dodgers in October. The 2015 first-round pick has not appeared in the majors since 2020, when he was a member of the Detroit organization. He'll provide organizational depth for Atlanta in 2023.
