Banuelos (elbow) is aiming for a season debut on April 12, Michael Cunningham of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
The logic behind the target date is that is Banuelos makes the Braves' roster as the No. 5 starter, the team will not need him until the April 12 due to two off days in the first week of the season. The 24-year-old has been throwing bullpen sessions since reporting to camp, but isn't expected to make a spring training start until next week.
