Braves' Seth Elledge: Cast off 40-man roster

Elledge was designated for assignment by Atlanta on Sunday.

Elledge was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Saturday and will lose his spot on the 40-man roster after Atlanta claimed Yonny Chirinos off waivers Sunday. It's possible Elledge remains in the organization if he goes unclaimed on waivers.
