Brewers' Eric Haase: Outrighted to Triple-A

The Brewers outrighted Haase to Triple-A Nashville on Monday after he cleared waivers, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Haase could have declined the assignment and become a free agent, but that would have meant forfeiting his $1 million salary. Instead, he will report to Nashville, where he will give the club quality catching depth.
