Cardinals' Edmundo Sosa: Avoids fracture

Sosa escaped without a fracture after getting hit in the wrist by a pitch Friday, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Sosa was clearly worried about a serious injury, as he immediately ran down the tunnel for treatment. Initial scans indicate he's avoided a fracture, so he should be able to return within three-to-five days.
