Luplow signed a one-year, $1.4 million deal with the Diamondbacks on Tuesday to avoid arbitration, Kiley McDaniel of ESPN.com reports.
Luplow was acquired from the Rays shortly before the lockout in late November, and he's now officially under contract with the Diamondbacks. The 28-year-old hit .202/.326/.454 with 11 home runs and 28 RBI in 62 games between Cleveland and Tampa Bay in 2021.
