Diamondbacks' Kevin Cron: Sent to alternate camp

Cron was optioned to Arizona's alternate camp site Thursday.

Cron is 0-for-17 with one walk and seven strikeouts on the season, so he'll head to the team's satellite camp for the time being to clear his head and work out some kinks. Andy Young replaces him on the big-league roster.
