Weaver (elbow) was reinstated from the 60-day injured list as expected Sunday.
Weaver made just a single appearance this season before hitting the injured list with an elbow strain. Despite opening the season as a reliever, he's been building up for a starting role, though his return to action is expected to come in a bulk-relief role following opener Kyle Nelson against the Phillies on Sunday.
