Weaver (3-3) allowed one run on four hits while striking out three over six innings in a win over the Padres on Wednesday.

Weaver made his first start since May 16 after landing on the 60-day injured list with a rotator cuff strain. The 27-year-old only managed four whiffs and three strikeouts, so he certainly wasn't overpowering with his pitches, but he was able to limit the Padres to just four hits, with Trent Grisham's solo homer being the only tally against him. Weaver is down to a 4.11 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 41:13 K:BB over 46 innings and is certainly an appealing streamer for the final month of the season. He currently lines up for an enticing matchup against the Rangers next week.
