Peralta isn't in the Dodgers' lineup Friday against the Reds, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
With lefty Brandon Williamson set to start on the mound for Cincinnati, Peralta will take a seat for the beginning of Friday's game. Chris Taylor will take over in left field and bat seventh in Peralta's place.
