Peralta is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Peralta and fellow lefty-hitting corner outfielder Jason Heyward will both head to the bench Wednesday with southpaw Yusei Kikuchi taking the hill for Toronto. Chris Taylor replaces Peralta in left field.
