Eric Haase: Elects free agency

Haase elected to become a free agent Tuesday.

Haase tallied 36 home runs in 208 games for the Tigers between the 2021-2022 seasons, but the 30-year-old catcher and corner outfielder stumbled to a .201/.247/.281 batting line across 293 major-league plate appearances in 2023.
