Giants' Lewis Brinson: Outrighted to Triple-A

Brinson cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Sacramento on Saturday.

Brinson was cast off the Giants' 40-man roster Wednesday, and he'll remain in the organization after going unclaimed on waivers. The 28-year-old has slashed .296/.354/.571 with 22 home runs, 63 RBI, 61 runs and five stolen bases over 85 Triple-A games this year.
