Giants' Mitch Haniger: Taking seat Wednesday

Haniger is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Diamondbacks, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Haniger had started each of the last three contests and eight of the last nine, but he will begin this one on the bench. Luis Matos is getting the call in left field for the Giants.
