Bailey had his contract selected by the Giants on Friday.
Bailey will join the major-league roster after he spent 14 games with Triple-A Sacramento, struggling to a .196 batting average with two homers, four RBI, five runs scored and a stolen base over 51 at-bats. The 23-year-old has yet to make his MLB debut, but he'll likely get that shot soon while operating behind Blake Sabol at catcher after Joey Bart (groin) was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday.
