Guardians' Sandy Leon: Scooped up by Guardians

Leon signed a minor-league contract with the Guardians on Saturday.

Released by the Rangers on June 21, Leon will head to Columbus to join the Guardians' Triple-A affiliate. Leon has only played in four minor-league games this season -- going 3-for-11 with an RBI -- and will serve as an organizational depth piece going forward.
