Indians' Carlos Frias: Sent to Triple-A

Frias was optioned to Triple-A Columbus on Tuesday.

Frias put together a decent spring and came close to making the big-league roster. The righty logged a 3.86 ERA over seven Cactus League innings, but racked up a 1.43 WHIP while opposing hitters owned a .310 BAA. He'll likely see some action with the Indians when the need for bullpen help arises.
