Indians' Stephen Fife: Put on temporary inactive list

Fife was placed on the temporary inactive list for bereavement leave Wednesday.

Fife will be away from the team for a few days but should return to the fold by the end of the weekend. Across 15 appearances (13 starts) with Triple-A Columbus this year, he's logged a 6.81 ERA and 1.74 WHIP.
