Jaylin Davis: Opts for free agency

Davis opted for free agency Thursday, per the MILB transaction log.

Davis lost his spot on Boston's 40-man roster on Sept. 12, and he spent the rest of the season with Triple-A Worcester. Prior to being designated for assignment he hit .333/.407/.375 across only 27 plate appearances with Boston.
