Mariners' Jack Larsen: Headed back to Double-A

The Mariners optioned Larsen to Double-A Arkansas on Tuesday.

Two days after getting his first call to the majors and starting in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Astros, Larsen will return to Double-A. The Mariners' outfield depth is still being tested by a multitude of injuries, but waiver pickup Travis Jankowski was added to the active roster Tuesday and will give Seattle a more experienced backup option than Larsen.
