Robles went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in a win over the White Sox on Friday.
The Seattle offense snapped out of its extended slumber in a big way Friday, and Robles put a bow on a memorable eight-run first inning with his 411-foot solo shot to left field. The veteran seems to have settled into an everyday role in center field for the time being with Julio Rodriguez (ankle) sidelined for multiple weeks, and Friday marked Robles' first time leading off. He'd mostly been slotting into the No. 2 hole previously, and there's no reason to think he won't continue working out of a favorable spot at or near the top of the order given how successful he's been at the plate (.364 average, 1.008 OPS with Seattle).
