Nimmo signed a one-year, $7 million contract with the Mets on Tuesday to avoid arbitration, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.
Nimmo is in his final year of arbitration eligibility and is scheduled to hit free agency at the end of the season. He slashed .292/.401/.437 last season but was limited to 92 games in 2021 due to hip, finger and hamstring injuries.
