The Mets recalled Orze from Triple-A Syracuse on Friday.
The 26-year-old was optioned to Syracuse during the All-Star break but will rejoin the Mets ahead of Friday's game versus Atlanta. Orze surrendered three earned runs without recording an out during his MLB debut July 8, though he's been effective at Triple-A this year with a 3.40 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 59:22 K:BB over 42.1 innings.
