Mets' Justin Garza: Stays in organization

The Mets outrighted Garza to Triple-A Syracuse on Tuesday.

He's no longer on the 40-man roster, but Garza will remain in the organization after passing through waivers unclaimed. The 31-year-old has made five relief appearances with the Mets this season, yielding four runs with a 3:1 K:BB in 6.2 innings.
