Walker exited Thursday's game in the ninth inning with an undisclosed injury, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports.
Walker took a sharp grounder off the chest in Thursday's game and although he was able to finish out the inning, he was ultimately replaced by Matt Reynolds. The Mets figure to release an update on the extent of Walker's injury late Thursday or early Friday. If Walker is out of the lineup Friday, Wilmer Flores or the recently acquired Kelly Johnson could be called upon to take over at second base.
