Mets' T.J. McFarland: Selected to MLB bullpen

The Mets selected McFarland's contract from Triple-A Syracuse on Monday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

McFarland will get his first look in the majors this year after working to a 2.76 ERA with 37 strikeouts through 32.2 innings of relief at Syracuse. Josh Walker has been optioned out in a corresponding roster move.
