Mets' Tommy Pham: No IL stint coming

Pham (groin) is expected to avoid the injured list after an MRI taken Friday came back clean, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Pham is not in the Mets' lineup Friday after making an early exit from Thursday's series finale against the White Sox due to renewed right groin discomfort. He doesn't have any sort of structural damage, though, and might be available at some point this weekend.
