The Nationals recalled Garrett from Triple-A Rochester on Tuesday, Jessica Camerato of MLB.com reports.
Garrett was a useful short-side platoon player for the Nationals in 2023 when he posted an .839 OPS against left-handed pitching, but he's spent all of 2024 in the minors until now and managed just a .681 OPS. The 28-year-old could be sent back down when Andres Chaparro returns from the paternity list later this week.
